Is $240 really the final price?
If your barrier doesn't pass first time, your first re-inspection within 60 days is included free. Additional re-inspections are $90.
Does the price change for spas or above-ground pools?
No — the same flat fee applies to spa barrier inspections and above-ground pools, since the assessment process and certification requirements are equivalent to a standard in-ground pool inspection.
Are there council fees on top of this?
Councils may charge a modest, separate registration fee if your pool isn't already registered — that's set by your council, not by us. Lodging your Form 23 with council is free.
What if my barrier needs repairs before it can pass?
Repairs themselves (gate adjustments, fencing work, relocating garden features) are arranged and paid for separately, typically through a handyman or fencing contractor. Our fee covers the inspection and your first re-inspection, not the repair work itself.
What if my pool fails the re-inspection too?
Most fixes pass on the second visit once the original issues are addressed — it's uncommon to fail twice. If it does happen, further re-inspections are $90 each, and the free re-check only applies if it's booked within 60 days of your original inspection.
